New Year New Opportunities

We now have one week before we move into 2008. First let me say "Thank you" for all of your expressions of love to Lena and me over the Christmas season. Your cards and gifts meant much to us. We have a wonderful church family, wide circle of friends and dear members of our family.

I must admit my excitement about 2008. There is something about a new year that says that we have a clean sheet of paper, now start filling it out.We have been blessed with good leadership this past year. You can see this by reflecting on all the good things that have happened in 2007. We now will build on this with the exciting plans in place for the new year that will be challenging and I think very gratifying. We have plans for revivals, mission trips, leadership training for Bible Study teachers and deacons and great gospel music groups. Of course, there will be opportunities that will emerge that we are not even aware of at this time.
That's what makes being a part of God's kingdom strategy so exciting. My prayer for the new year is that we will all be committed to faithfulness. Don't miss the blessing!

By reading this, you can see that I'm trying to keep my blog working again. We'll see.
Grace,
PB
